A few months back I had the idea of hosting an intimate bridal show, where there were just a handful of invited wedding professionals that I trusted would be able to talk to local brides in an intimate setting. On February 16th it all came together and I hosted Bliss Made Simple at my studio in Foxboro, MA. Thanks to Heidi, Anne, Amy, Bethany, Brooke, and Liz for creating a beautiful setting on such a snowy afternoon! It was lovely to get a chance to talk to the brides who bravely faced the elements to come see us!
I honestly can’t speak more highly of the following wedding professionals.
Rhode Island Rentals – Anne Stanton
Paper Lily Invitations – Heidi Lefevbre
The Flower Girl – Bethany Wright
Gracie Lou Events – Elizabeth Dunderdale
Amy’s Apples and Devilish Delights – Amy Heaton
Brooke’s Flour Pot – Brooke Daniels
Anne and Bethany created a beautiful tablescape with four very different themed place settings and floral arrangements. The colors for each were fabulous! Add in some custom invitations and menus from Heidi and a placesetting cookie from Brooke and the final product was beautiful. I love love love layers of texture and color! By having wedding professionals that know each other and are used to working together you will get a cohesive theme and accents that you may not otherwise find. Here is the link to the styled shoot that we did together last fall.
Top off your event with beautiful custom cookies by Brooke. These cookies are just a sample of what she can create. I overheard her talking to a 2015 bride about custom monogram cookies to greet each guest on their table – how elegant!
Amy created devilish delights all in purple for guests to enjoy. My favorite was the chocolate covered oreos and, of course, her cake balls which are always treats for the eyes! Amy creates entire tables for her clients that have confections of all kinds in any color or theme. You have to visit her Smithfield store!
Elizabeth of Gracie Lou Events created an inspiration station that brought out the creativity in everyone! A huge sampling of colors, textures, fabrics, and design items chosen to illustrate your ideal wedding from classic to formal to Rustic or shabby chic. An overwhelming array of colors to look at, at first, but Liz has a way of finding your style and pulling together a pallette that is perfect!
Thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed the day with us!
(And to my husband who woke up at 6am to shovel and de-ice the walkways so that we would all have a safe afternoon. You’re the best!)
