Emily and Chris are the sweetest couple – so excited during the wedding planning process and all smiles pretty much all the time in general! They chose to have a gorgeous Turner Hill Mansion Wedding in Ipswich, MA for their wedding ceremony and reception. This place, if you haven’t been, is amazing. It’s a photographers dream because of all of the different architectural and visual aspects on the property. Endless photographic possibilities! And we took advantage of lots of them – the library, the grounds, and even the staircases. I’m looking forward to the next couple that brings be to Turner Hill for their wedding!
*Note, this wedding is a flashback – I really wanted it on the new blog and couldn’t believe it wasn’t already a post! Emily and Chris have two beautiful girls now and it’s been great to stay in touch!
Both bridesmaids and groomsmen got ready for the day right on property at Turner Hill. The rooms are so large and beautiful!
Chris got ready in a room that is an old library. We snuck upstairs to use the gorgeous depth and character of the room for his portraits. Then it was off to meet Emily outside for a first look!
This amazing huge covered ivy fountain area (I’m not even sure what to call it!) drew my attention right away. The dramatic textures were so interesting! This wedding day was so bright out that creating a little bit of interest and drama in the covered area worked wonderfully.
One final image with the lion eating a fish was, of course, a must! A wonderful Turner Hill Mansion wedding with absolutely wonderful people!
