June 15, 2016What a treat to be a second photographer for Michele and Vin’s Lakeview Pavilion Wedding. I met them that afternoon for the first time and knew we were going to have a great day! Michele and Vin are all smiles! I love seeing couples that are energized by the excitement of their wedding day and truly enjoy themselves. The guys getting ready were easy-going and relaxed, and Michelle was absolutely glowing by the time Vin saw her for the first time in the lobby of the Renaissance Patriot Place.
We went to Borderland State Park for wedding photos before heading over to the Lakeview Pavilion. Borderland is an amazing spot because no matter what the weather or light there is somewhere gorgeous for photographs. Whether it is against the historic Ames Mansion with it’s neutral stone backdrop, by the rock fountain and beautiful floral arbors, or simply among the paths and open fields. A treasure to have this spot so nearby the studio! If you are local and like winter sports, there is one heck of a sledding hill right behind this building 🙂
I love the simplicity and elegance of these bridesmaids bouquets. This is the second wedding this year I have photographed with babies breath – it’s coming back in a big way! White against black is always a classic look and will never go out of style.
Then it was off to Lakeview for the wedding ceremony. Their new design is striking. An all-white, grand ballroom greets guests after they have enjoyed the outdoor ceremony space set among the trees and next to the lake.
Sometimes photographing guests is as much fun as focusing on the bride and groom! This dad’s excitement is shown all over his face!
A traditional dance – and lots of laughter – capped off the day. Congratulations to Michele and Vin on a gorgeous – very happy! – Lakeview Pavilion wedding!
