There are so many wonderful reception locations in Mass, but it’s always a special treat to be a Willowdale Estate wedding photographer! This wedding at the Estate in Topsfield, MA was just beautiful! It took place in early June, in slightly cool but otherwise perfect weather.
Anyone who has been to Willowdale knows that the location is a photographers dream — gorgeous backdrops and yummy light around every corner! This time I had the special treat of hanging with the guys as they got ready for the big day. An enthusiastic game of poker was enjoyed by all! The groom got ready in the next room after playing a hand or two.
The bride and groom chose to have their first look on the private, romantic bridge close to the main building. I love this sweet series of the two of them. The second image is especially lovely. The groom’s eyes are locked on his bride, and his foot placement shows movement towards her. 
I snuck around to get this wide angle of a twirl and good look at the dress. Isn’t this spot amazing?
This couple wanted mostly candid images, so we let them walk around and enjoy the moment and each other. They were naturals!

The palette this couple chose of periwinkle and pinks is so romantic and soft. It was perfect for June and looked lovely at Willowdale!

A slight snafu with the ring fitting properly (at first!) brings out laughter in both the bride and groom.
