This post shows a few of my favorite Endicott Estate wedding photos from a couple this past fall. The Estate has the most delicious light to play with! I absolutely love shooting there. Inside or out, there is so much opportunity. Black and white images are most of all my favorite, so I decided to highlight that in this post. A full wedding post of dramatic, black and white for those fine-art portrait lovers!
When we first arrived, the bride and groom were getting ready in separate rooms upstairs at the Estate. In all of the chaos, I love the quiet moment of mom fixing her daughter’s veil. The getting ready space is large with lots of light — a photographers ideal space!
First we went out to the hallway for a few portraits, and then it was time for the bride and groom’s first look. For anyone who isn’t familiar with the term, that is when they see each other for the first time on the wedding day. It is often done in private, and is a very sweet moment. Most noteworthy, if you take family and wedding party photos before the ceremony you get to attend the cocktail hour with guests!
The ceremony was held outside at the gazebo on property. I love this wide image, with the Estate in the background. Sunset light on this fall day was just gorgeous! We brought the bridal party to the front of the building for their photos together. They wanted something that wasn’t too stiff, and the whole group played along. The results are absolutely lovely! Check out the long, dramatic shadows from the afternoon sun!
This collection of Endicott Estate wedding photos is certainly one of my favorites! I can’t wait to go back!
Finally, a big thank you to Alicia for inviting me to be your second photographer for this wedding! I had a blast!
