I fell in love with Wellfleet photographing a wedding at the Chequessett Yacht and Country Club so many years back. There is really nothing like a Wellfleet beach wedding! Kristen and Conor’s engagement session last summer was such a treat, and I knew this day would be, too! We started at a couple of rental properties in Wellfleet, both of which had amazing light and beautiful space. Kristen and her bridesmaids enjoyed the sunroom at their rental house, The Moorings, while the boys were across the street.
Matching robes are so much fun on a wedding day. How cute are these? Love the smiles that go with them!
After the dress was on, we then went to Uncle Tim’s bridge for a first look, bridal party photos, and a short session with Kristen and Conor. I love this bridge! It was especially busy on this day, but everyone in the bridal party took it in stride. We left enough time in the schedule to be able to be patient and get what we needed. I’m not surprised so many people wanted to enjoy the spot on a gorgeous day like this!
Finally, it was off to get married! We headed over to the Chequessett Yacht and Country Club in Wellfleet, MA where, of course, they were ready, organized, and gorgeous, as always! Loved the personal touch of the handmade sign, below, showing guests where to go.

One of my favorite things about the Chequessett Yacht Club is their versatility. There are multiple choices for where to have your ceremony, and where to have your meal. Kristen and Conor chose to have theirs in the clubhouse. The details were so sweet, like the individual greenery showing each guest where to sit.
Finally, we were ready to dance the night away! Back to the boathouse for cocktails and great music.
Lastly, we snuck outside for a few moment to capture the event at night. I love the blue sky against the warm glow of the reception. Even the moon came out to play! Thank you, Kristen and Conor, for inviting me to be a part of your Wellfleet beach wedding. I absolutely loved it!
