What an absolute treat to spend the day with Katie and Brian at the Lakeview Pavilion Wedding in Wrentham, MA. We had a bit of everything – some rustic images at a nearby farm, gorgeous light in a local church, and the clean, white style of Lakeview Pavilion. But before all of that, I first spent some time with Katie and her bridesmaids getting ready. Check out these bands – look closely – their names are inscribed inside. So lovely!
Before the dress went on, mom helped Katie with her veil while her sister and grandmother assisted. Love all of their expressions!
Then it was time to head out to meet the groom. Katie and her dad walked out their front door to the car. What a sweet moment captured – I love that dad is carrying the box of flowers, suit coat in one hand, and the look they were giving each other.
The first look was sweet as ever, after which the bride and groom absolutely rocked a few minutes of portraits. These two were so sweet and photogenic! The feedback from their engagement photos made it clear they loved some of the more fine art images, especially black and white ones. Yup, I knew we were going to get along well! While the slightly more traditional images are gorgeous, I swoon over the dramatic black and whites below. Tangerini’s Spring Street Farm in Millis, MA was gorgeous and a perfect backdrop for this fall day.
After these and some family portraits, it was off to get married! The second photographer captured these images behind the scenes, while I drooled over the light coming through the church windows. It stayed just long enough for me to capture what instantly became one of my favorite aisle moments ever.
After a quick toast in the limo it was finally time to head to their Lakeview Pavilion wedding reception! The room was, as always, gorgeous. I need to find out who decided to add the wood farm tables into the stark white style of the room because that was sheer brilliance. Mixing the two added warmth to the space that made it just perfect!
A few nighttime portraits topped of the evening. For the first time in a while, we stayed inside for these special closing images. I wanted to show off this incredible reception space, and these two were excellent at taking a moment together while there was a room of dancing happening right there. Thank you, Katie and Brian for inviting me to be a part of your Lakeview Pavilion Wedding!
