{"id":3760,"date":"2016-08-02T00:55:21","date_gmt":"2016-08-02T00:55:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jlm-studio.com\/?p=3760"},"modified":"2016-10-25T17:16:52","modified_gmt":"2016-10-25T17:16:52","slug":"nauticus-marina-wedding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jessicamchale.com\/blog\/2016\/08\/nauticus-marina-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Nauticus Marina Wedding  | Kelley and Charles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kelley and Charles invited me to be a part of their Nauticus Marina wedding on Cape Cod and I am so glad that they did! \u00a0We go to know each other during their engagement session last fall in Charlestown, MA (<a href=\"\/blog\/2015\/11\/boston_engagement_photographers_3456435\/\">check out studio favorites!<\/a>). \u00a0 I had never been to the Nauticus Marina in Osterville before, but swooned over it as soon as I saw it! \u00a0What a fantastic, grand spot for a celebration. \u00a0The grounds were fabulous, and enhanced by the wonderful work of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecasualgourmet.com\">The Casual Gourmet<\/a>. \u00a0Olive and her team never disappoint! \u00a0The vegetarian option that I had at this wedding was hands-down a favorite of all time!<\/p>\n<p>OK back to photography! \u00a0I met the bride and bridesmaids at the Hyannis Harborside for some getting ready photos to start the day. \u00a0Then off to the church. \u00a0Their ceremony was extra-special because the Minister\u00a0is a close family member. \u00a0After the ceremony it was time to head to Nauticus Marina for the wedding reception! \u00a0We found shade in a small spot between one of the quintessential Cape Cod buildings and the cocktail hour tent for family photos. \u00a0Kelley and Charles were such good sports in the heat and we got everything we needed before anybody melted!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3801\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/cape-cod-wedding-photographers.jpg\" alt=\"cape-cod-wedding-photographers\" width=\"1000\" height=\"668\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3807\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/hyatt-harborside-wedding-photographers-6753.jpg\" alt=\"hyatt-harborside-wedding-photographers-6753\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3800 size-full\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/cape-cod-wedding-photographers-463534.jpg\" alt=\"nauticus marina wedding\" width=\"1000\" height=\"673\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3808\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/hyatt-harborside-wedding-photographers.jpg\" alt=\"hyatt-harborside-wedding-photographers\" width=\"1000\" height=\"668\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3805\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/hyatt-harborside-wedding-234.jpg\" alt=\"hyatt-harborside-wedding-234\" width=\"1000\" height=\"668\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3806\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/hyatt-harborside-wedding-photographers-6544.jpg\" alt=\"hyatt-harborside-wedding-photographers-6544\" width=\"1000\" height=\"668\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3804\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/hyatt-barborside-wedding-12321.jpg\" alt=\"hyatt-barborside-wedding-12321\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I have seen more and more special touches in weddings in recent years and I love that. Kelley chose to honor two special grandfathers with putting their portraits in a locket and pinning it to her bouquet. \u00a0So, so sweet.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" much closer to the cocktail hour and guests than I normally like to be (actually, were were IN cocktail hour!) but the spot was the best to be in, so we stayed. \u00a0And despite a little chaos around us the two of them really snuggled close and we captured these beautiful images. \u00a0Really, Kelley and Charles, you did such a great job! \u00a0This is a lot harder than it looks with an audience of 100! \u00a0I think our practice engagement session helped here &#8211; you will have to let me know!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3811 size-full\"
