Morgan and Isaac’s weekend kicked off with a Cape Cod rehearsal dinner on Friday evening. \u00a0Clients to inquire about weddings in Wellfleet, Truro, and Provincetown typically have ties to the area. \u00a0Having years of family memories in a special spot makes it an obvious choice when getting married. \u00a0Morgan and Isaac’s\u00a0rehearsal dinner was held at Isaac’s childhood family summer home. \u00a0A perfect spot to celebrate, no doubt!<\/p>\n

We started the afternoon with a portrait session, a kind of last-minute-engagement session, with Morgan and Isaac. \u00a0They wanted to capture the area\u00a0so, of course, we went to the water! \u00a0The docks, fishing boats, bright late-summer sun and pier all made it into the session. \u00a0It was extremely warm out but Morgan and Isaac snuggled up anyway. \u00a0Anyone who has been photographed by me knows that is a requirement – sky-high humidity or otherwise!<\/p>\n

Then\u00a0we went to the house where close family and friends were waiting and sipping cocktails on the deck. \u00a0Family is extremely important to this couple, and they wanted several large group photos. \u00a0Knowing that ahead of time, we ended up scheduling several large family portraits on the evening of the rehearsal. \u00a0It worked out wonderfully and freed up a lot of time on the wedding day. \u00a0It definitely pays off to think of these things beforehand!<\/p>\n

Then guests gathered around the couple\u00a0to listen to a jewish blessing by Isaac’s parents. \u00a0A beautiful, heartfelt toast by Morgan’s mother immediately followed.<\/p>\n

This evening was the first time I met the bride and groom. \u00a0Their Cape Cod rehearsal dinner was a great way to kick off the weekend! \u00a0It was evident right away that we were going to have a wonderful wedding day the next day! \u00a0They were all warm, welcoming, and so much fun to photograph!\u00a0 Check out Morgan and Isaac’s wedding day coverage<\/a>. \u00a0The weather went from just looking beautiful to feeling great, too!<\/p>\n
