There’s nothing like a Red Lion Inn wedding. \u00a0Except for one that is snow-covered, filled with warm candlelight and just a few days before the holidays! \u00a0Amie and Brian’s wedding was filled with warmth from the start. \u00a0These two have amazing smiles and I knew we were going to have a ton of fun on their wedding day. \u00a0No matter what! \u00a0What, in this case, was driving all of my gear at 10mph on rt 93 in a totally unexpected snow accumulation. \u00a0But, wedding photographers are like mailmen, we do the job no matter what! \u00a0It was kind of fun to show up early and great to have a little extra time getting ready.<\/p>\n

We started in the Salon with the girls. \u00a0A fire was roaring when I arrived as they were getting hair and makeup done. \u00a0What a way to set the mood on a snowy day!<\/p>\n

Cufflinks are a nod to… I know you know!… the Simpsons!<\/p>\n

The veil was a very important detail for Amie. \u00a0It was her mother’s, so getting some images of them together was a must. \u00a0I love the light here, and the wood detail behind them.<\/p>\n

I used the window light to highlight that gorgeous\u00a0dress and love how Amie’s\u00a0shoes pick up just a little sparkle underneath. \u00a0This image is beautiful in black and white, but I left it in color here because the mustard yellow adds such a nice warmth.<\/p>\n

After some time with the ladies it was time to go say hello to the guys, and set up Amie and Brian’s first look. \u00a0His gaze is totally locked on her – and check out that little smile.<\/p>\n

\nI already said these two were a lot of fun, and the series of them being goofy together seems just perfect. \u00a0Amie I can’t wait to see if these make the cut for your favorites!<\/p>\n

After Amie and Brian’s few minutes in the spotlight,\u00a0it was time for bridal party photos. \u00a0 The Red Lion Inn’s covered walkways were\u00a0perfect so nobody’s toes got wet\u00a0and we were still able to take photos outside. \u00a0 And those colors with the gold dresses and flowers? \u00a0Yes, please!<\/p>\n

The bridal party! \u00a0One snowy, casual photo and one formal indoor one. \u00a0Seemed the perfect fit for their day. \u00a0For such a large group they were amazingly flexible as we moved around the property. \u00a0Thank goodness for those overhangs!<\/p>\n

Finally, it was time to let loose on the dance floor! \u00a0If only this group knew how to tear it up to a good band. \u00a0Ha! \u00a0What a fun wedding to be a part of!<\/p>\n

ClockWork Boston<\/a>\u00a0did a great job of keeping the crowd on their feet all night. \u00a0A shout-out to them! \u00a0My first time hearing this particular group and hopefully not the last. \u00a0Perhaps we will meet again in 2017 for another Red Lion Inn wedding!<\/p>\n

\nIt began to pour just as\u00a0we snuck outside for one last snowy nighttime photo. \u00a0They embraced anyway and the result is so sweet and romantic! \u00a0Thanks for braving the elements and trusting me! \u00a0A Red Lion Inn wedding for the books!<\/p>\n
