What an incredible treat to be invited to capture Bryanah\u00a0and Ryan’s Wollaston Golf Club surprise wedding! \u00a0I loved the idea as soon as I heard their story and was so honored to be a part of it. \u00a0What a sweet way to tie the knot!<\/p>\n

Of course, being a little sneaky is part of every wedding day, as we wait for the perfect moment for the father-of-the-bride to see the bride, groom and to see each other, and of course stay away from guest until the big moment. \u00a0But this was totally different! \u00a0We were\u00a0extra careful as we walked around Lower Mills to avoid friends in the area. \u00a0Many of those friends were on their way\u00a0to what they thought was an engagement party. \u00a0Seeing Bryanah in wedding attire certainly would have given it away!<\/p>\n

We planned carefully and it absolutely paid off. \u00a0Guests started\u00a0the “engagement party” at 6:30pm. \u00a0Little did they know that I showed up at 4:30 across town to photograph the bride and groom and their immediate families. \u00a0Location was something Bryanah and I spent a lot of time on. \u00a0Phone calls with both of us on Google maps, a walk around the area complete with test shots by Bryanah, and me calling people I knew in the area. \u00a0We settled on what we simply called the\u00a0green bridge on the Neponset Riverwalk. \u00a0 Bryanah wanted something that had an urban edge to it and it worked out wonderfully. \u00a0The light that evening was incredible. \u00a0The kind of light I would order up for every wedding if I could! \u00a0Just enough sun poking\u00a0though the clouds for a few dramatic images, and soft, diffused portrait light. \u00a0Thank you, mother nature!<\/p>\n

Finally, after portraits, we hopped in the car and it was off to the Wollaston Golf Club<\/a>. \u00a0I snuck quickly in through the front entrance while Bryanah and Ryan went in the back. \u00a0There was a temporary wall between the bar area where guests were already having a great time and the reception area. \u00a0We were only there a moment before the wall opened to reveal the couple and their families. \u00a0The reactions were priceless! \u00a0\"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"\" \"wollaston \"wollaston \"\" \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston \"wollaston<\/p>\n
