Ethan and Jeff began their wedding day enjoying blue skies walking down the Provincetown Causeway. I got to know them via zoom over this past year, as we planned their wedding from afar. Finally, such a treat to meet in person and photograph their same-sex wedding on Cape Cod.

First stop – Provincetown! It is an important place to them so of course we made it a priority for their wedding photos. I absolutely loved their tailored blue suits and peacock feather bowties. Ethan and Jeff’s style was second only to both groom’s excitement for the day! They were looking for casual, unposed photographs of the two of them. We started by walking on the large rocks of the causeway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After portraits, we then moved to Wellfleet. Ethan and Jeff’s ceremony and reception was at the Chequessett Yacht and Country Club. I really enjoy photographing at the CYCC because of the variety of spaces they have on property. Each couple really gets to customize the space. For instance, Ethan and Jeff’s wedding included a ceremony on the beach, tented reception, and dancing in a seaside boathouse. All of which overlooks the water. It truly is a wonderful spot!

A ceremony complete with heartfelt hand written vows. Then guests moved up the stone steps to the boathouse. A huge boat filled with specialty seafood and incredible passed hors d’oeuvres from the Casual Gourmet Caterers kept everyone smiling.

Next, guests feasted on lobster and great conversation. There is something spectacular about toes in the sand dining on cape cod! A full moon popped out just as everyone was beginning to move back to the boathouse. Now lit up with warm patio lights, the space was ready to celebrate the grooms! First up, a traditional Horah with family and friends, and first dances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I left for the evening, the boathouse was lit up and dancing well underway. <\/span><\/font>It was great to be a part of this same-sex Cape Cod wedding. Thanks Ethan and Jeff for inviting me to be a part of it all!
