After years of photographing all over southeastern Mass with this client, they were looking for something a little different than fall colors. We headed to a beach here in Rhode Island that is more than just sand. Pebble Beach in Middletown, Rhode Island is minutes from downtown Newport. It is far away from crowds, and an absolutely gorgeous spot for family photos. The colors and textures of the rocks here at Pebble Beach are stunning, especially at sunset. We recorded many images of the girls and family with a blue sky background, but this one with the depth of the shoreline is one of my favorites. I really love beaches that have the opportunity to put some color and depth in the background like we did here. Second beach in Middletown and First beach in Newport also have beautiful shorelines to include in family photos.
Every photo session has the goal of a large variety of images, angles, and poses. Beaches in Rhode Island are widely varied in their makeup of dunes, rocks, and sand. This variety allows for an incredible variety in your beach photography session.
