Class of 2025 Senior Photos

I work with rising seniors to make sure all of the pieces of their high school senior photos come together - from outfits to location to posing and editing. Wether nervous or excited to be front-and-center of a photo shoot, I use years of posing tricks to make students look and feel their best! Back at the studio, I hand-edit favorite images to ensure everyone is excited about what is being sent to the yearbook. My favorite part about photographing high school students is when we get to go beyond the traditional yearbook image and photograph the students passion - art, theater, sport, dance - whatever it is, it has probably shaped your high school career and should have space in your senior portrait session!

Senior Photo Pricing

I am also a parent of a high school senior this year and I know there is already enough to think about, so let's make this process smooth and easy!

One Student | $425

30-45min session at the location of your choice, with time to change outfits if you’d like to. Session fee includes a password-protected online proof viewing gallery with 30-40 images to select from. Two of your favorite images will be fully edited and delivered to you in jpeg format. Both are ready to send to your yearbook and make prints for your family and friends. Why two images? Because in my experience students and parents have different favorites, and this way everyone is happy!

Two Students | $395 each

Two students each with their own 30+ minute session, scheduled back to back. I do include time for photos together, if you’d like. Each student receives their own gallery and digital file selections, the same as one student packages.

High School Senior Portraits + Family Session | $795

Scheduled back to back, a 30+ minute senior photo session for one student and a family mini session. Time for the student to change between sessions is included, as we want to make sure they wear what they want in their high school senior photos and are then ready to be a part of whatever colors the rest of the family is wearing in their mini-session.

Digital files | $500

The full gallery with all of your images is available, fully edited, delivered in both a complete set of 5x7 prints and also hi-resolution jpeg format. This is a popular option once clients see their image collection and just can't leave anything behind!

Prints | $22 and up

Prints are available through your gallery and have a wide variety of sizes. Standard desktop prints sizes, to give you an idea, are $22 for a 5x7 and $39 for an 8x10.

High School Senior Photo FAQ

When are sessions scheduled?

Senior photos are scheduled in August, September, and October so there is time to get the images edited and submitted by yearbook deadlines. Sessions vary from 30 min to a full hour, and locations vary depending on each student and what their interests are.

Who can come to the session?

I always appreciate having someone along at senior photo sessions. Especially if the student is very particular about their hair, outfits, etc, having a parent or best friend be there to style is a huge help. It also adds to the fun! I often have a parent attend sessions, and always take a photo of them with their senior and send at no cost. I'm a mom of a HS senior, too, and let's face it we need to soak up all the hugs while we can!

What should I wear?

Sounds simplistic, but the best thing you can do is wear what you love and make you feel confident. Truly! If you have a signature look, go with that! If you have items to choose from, I love solids and layers. I'd stay away from solid black - charcoal or dark navy look better with skin tones. Bright white can also be troublesome with a lot of skin tones - cream, off-white, or even a white with details and texture like eyelet or knit look better. Feel free to bring multiple outfits and let me know if you need a changing tent. I'm happy to bring one!

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions take place at the location of your choice. If you don't have one in mind, I am happy to suggest one for you. I prefer photographing portraits with neutral tones in the background like stone, brick, sand, windows, wood and rocks, and gravitate towards background that have visual depth in them. I have several favorite spots including state parks, beaches, and historic locations throughout Rhode Island and Mass. I also love to use your school (if allowed). Your school theater, track, or wherever it is that you spend your time makes a great backdrop for meaningful photos.

My home base is on Aquidneck Island, right next to Newport. I serve surrounding communities such as Portsmouth High School, Middletown High School, Bristol High School, Jamestown High School, Tiverton High School, East Greenwich High School, Barrington High School, and all of eastern Rhode Island. You may also know I have deep roots in Massachusetts and service clients in Medfield, Dover, Walpole, Millis, Medway, Franklin, Wrentham, Foxboro, Plainville, and North Attleboro. If your town isn't listed, its just because there are too many to list!

What is the turn around time for images?

You should receive your proof gallery in under two weeks. If you make a decision on your favorite quickly, I can get the fully edited image back to you in just a few days after you decide (depending on my editing queue).

Please don't wait until last minute to schedule your session, however if you find. yourself in a bind with a short amount of time until the due date give me a call and let's see what we can do!

How many proofs are there?

In a standard senior session, I give about 30-35 proofs to select from. If a student adds on time for hobby images there will be more in the range of 50 proofs.

Can I use one of your images for my yearbook?

In almost all cases, YES! You can find submission guidelines and deadlines posted through your high school. I am happy to submit your image for you, once you approve edits, or you can submit it yourself. There are some companies that lay claim to having to use them exclusively for your yearbook photo and the truth is that for seniors that is almost always NOT true. While official school photographers do a lot of work to create beautiful yearbooks, your high school senior portrait should be something that you get a say in when it comes to style, editing, location, and price. Take the time to look around and find a photographer that you love - it's worth it!

I look forward to hearing from you!
