After photographing hundreds of weddings I have a little advice to share with clients. Most clients want family photos - you know, the traditional kind, but in 2025 not "too" traditional. We will set aside a time for these photos and I'll ask that you please not allow the venue or caterer to bring drinks and appetizers out to your family. While I know everyone is thirsty and excited to get to the party, the passing of drinks and napkins really does slow the entire process down. Just skip that service and get the family photos done lickety-split so you can send everyone off to the party!
