Ok lets just admit that getting married on Outer Cape Cod is simply a dream. There is no shortage of stunning vistas to take wedding photos! But often I look for depth and texture and sometimes I like a little more than a beach offers. In this case I have clients check out a place in Wellfleet called Uncle Tim's Bridge. This location has incredible depth and the lighting is usually ideal (skip mid-day summer). At high or low tide the tall sea grasses are always beautiful to photograph. For bridal parties that aren't overwhelmingly large, this location can really add a lot to your wedding day photographs.
A few tips to keep in mind. I'd make sure your photographer has been here before as it can be very tricky to find and work around. I'd also have a parking plan or driver ready. There will be people who are walking the boardwalk but i've never had an issue really and just work around the public, acknowledging this is a public space we are using.
The logistical issues are always worth the stunning images we get out of this location! Definitely check it out if you are looking for a nice photo spot to head to that works with your outer Cape Cod wedding day.
