St. Cecelia's garden is tucked behind the main building, down a long staircase made from flagstone and flowers. Complete with fountain on the landing, this staircase is on of the pinnacle architectural gems at the Connors Center.
In this image, the bride and her father are preparing to come down the stairs, enter the aisle where guests are waiting and begin the wedding ceremony. I saw the gorgeous sunlight that was streaming in on one part of the staircase, set my camera to capture that spot and waited until the bride and her dad were in it to capture this moment. I love the formality of this image, the light, and the trees that are framing the subjects.
As many images as I take on a wedding day, there are a few that stand out, and the this bride walking down the aisle is definitely one of them!
