This iconic staircase at the Endicott Estate offers a lot in terms of creative photography options. For this image, I wanted to see her entire gown and the only way to do that and not be at an awkward angle to the couple is to get very low to the ground on the second floor. I was sitting on the staircase for this image. The framing includes her entire bridal gown with the dark wood railing as a leading line to bring your eye to the couple. I edited this image so that the light outside the window is a large part of the composition but also masks the business outside that could detract from the way they are looking at each other.
