This Forbes article: "Why events should be part of your growth marketing strategy this year" outlines the importance of planning and attending business meeting events and conferences. I'll add my .02 that having professional photographs of your business event adds even more value to the experience. I had one company tell me they used the images to get the employees excited (and attending!) future business meetings. Increasing attendance, excitement, and participation are all great reasons - beyond being able to use the images externally and in marketing - to get professional photography of your event.
