Networking and face-to-face interactions are so important to all companies, but now so more than ever with fewer in-office days. This event was "speed networking", where the company had a timer and when the bell rang, everyone had to mingle and find another person to talk to until the next bell. It was a clever and really effective way to get work-from-home employees to get to know each other in a fun way.
I was photographing this as part of a multi-day business meeting event in Newport at Hotel Viking. Roundtables, brainstorming sessions, keynote speaker, panel discussions, dinners, and a cruise in Newport harbor - I was there for all of it and delivered a same-day collection of images that the company is using in their external marketing and internal communications.
