large group photographs for businesses

Getting your business team together can be a rare thing with lots of people working from home. When you do have a conference or event, it's a good idea to take time for a large group photograph. These images give clients, prospective clients, and donors a visual of the strength and professionalism your business or organization has.

A few tips to arrange large group photos:

Have the photographer know or scout the location beforehand. Selecting an appropriate size location is step one, then getting permission from the venue. In this case we did block the doors for a few minutes but lucked out to get permission because it was a weekday morning in the off season. Things like risers, steps, or a ladder will need to be take into consideration before the group gathers. Groups this large really need visual parameters in order to fill a space that looks good in an image, and there is normally not a lot of time. The photographer really only has a few moments and getting a great image in those few moments takes a good balance of preparation, patience, and a big voice to move people (professionally) to where they will look the best.

Things I look for in large group photographs: Even light. Even group spacing. Seeing everyone's faces.

At the end of all the commotion you will have an image of your business or organization you are proud to display!
