Wedding photojournalism, for me, isn't typically something that I capture all day long. There are points in the day where I wear a documentary photography hat, and for family photos my posing skills (and attention to detail!) shine.
But this image is pure wedding photojournalism! There is so much happening here. The bride and her sister were in a long embrace, while two other women were looking on. In the chaos of the room, the toddler needed a little redirection. It captures all of the chaos and love that happens in the moments during the getting ready. A very fun part of the day!
What I love about this particular bridal suite is the light that comes in on multiple sides - it's stunning all on it's own and really the camera to move around capturing moments from all angles when the room looks great from all angles!
