This relaxed executive headshot was taken in the workshop to showcase the company's space. The background, and main workshop, is lit by natural window light. I used one off-camera light with a modifier to create flattering but striking light on this subject.
The goal of their new company branding was to get images that reflected the personality of each individual person in the company, as well as to get images that reflected the high level of quality they provide to their clients. When I was approached for this project, we talked about everything from clothing to lighting and location. I visited the site a week before our photography session to take a look at the space and plan out how we would achieve all of the goals of their marketing team.
