Photographing at the Endicott Estate is always a treat. I got my feet wet in wedding photographing at the Henry Ford Museum and the woodwork here really reminds me of that. This image on the main staircase gives a great feel to the entire atmosphere inside. Dark wood detailing, beautiful light, and historic design on every inch!
This bride told me she wanted to look like the wedding was from a Downton Abby era, and we absolutely exceeded expectations there! I love the foreground here with the chandelier, her hand placed so softly on the railing, and the way the light hits her face.
Bridal portraits are, whenever possible, taken right after the dress is put on and before any other images are taken. Everything from hair to makeup to dress creases are perfect, and it's a great way to get everyone ready for more photographs! For brides who want something less stuffy, a more candid approach works beautifully too!
