The West Chop Club on Martha's Vineyard is a private club that, in addition to hosting long-time members and guests, hosts weddings in the summer. Their grounds are beautifully manicured, with multiple buildings and space for a large sailcloth tent in a central area.
What I really enjoyed about photographing a wedding here is that as a photographer, in portraits I look for depth and lean towards neutral colors to compliment skin tones. There was so much to work with here - stonework, beautiful siding for neutral tones, and the beach with a beautiful path for depth. This image even has the ocean in the background, but still remains intimate because of the foliage in the path.
You need to be a member or have a sponsor to get married at the West Chop Club, but if that's where you are headed take me with you! I'm definitely not done creating magic in this incredible location.
