This embrace just says everything. It's so honest and in the moment.
I chose to frame this image in a way that would really enhance the couple and their moment, even in a busy ten filled with guests. By getting very low and having the bride and groom single embraced shape against the clean lines of the white sail tent, the image accomplished exactly what I wanted it to.
Of course, the ambiance of the moment is also so important. So the bridal party and parents are in the frame, with their amazing expressions and clapping hands.
The image was edited as a black and white because the color version was distracting and pulled my eye away from the groom's face, and his chin resting on her shoulder. Nothing was going to take away from that!
I love photographing Nauticus Marina wedding. It has endless nooks and crannies to slip away for photos. This wedding happened to be the single hottest day I have every photographed a wedding on, and we still found stunning patches of shade and gorgeous light from full daylight through the iconic Cape Cod sunset.
