This couple and all of their guests enjoyed a breathtaking sunset while cocktails were being enjoyed on the north lawn of the West Chop Club in Martha's Vineyard. Once guests were seated inside the tent and introductions were finished, I invited the couple to join me on a walk to the water. My goal for them was an image that captured the incredible colors of the sky on their wedding day, and chose to have the couple in silhouette. When doing an image like this, having as much separation between each other is the best way to make the image interesting. I took many frames of them walking, and really like this one with his foot, jacket blowing in the wind, and her arm off of her body. Their shapes are so important but the sunset on their wedding day definitely stole the show!
