Dedham, Massachusetts
On the National Register of Historic Places, this stately colonial home is worth a visit! Conveniently in Dedham, MA, the Endicott Estate is a wedding venue that I get excited to visit every time. Each of the 27 rooms in the house has it's own character that, as a photographer, is really fun to work with throughout a wedding day. I appreciate the character and light, the charm, the depth I am able to get. I also appreciate how at-ease my clients who get married here are, which makes my job of capturing joy that much easier!
I especially love when the end of evening party moves to a fresh space, in this case the music room, for dancing. Guests still have access to sit at their dining table while those dancing don't need to worry about bumping into trays or servers after dinner. A little added touch to elevate your event!
1: Out front at sunset (sunset especially because of the angle of the light at that time)
2: The iconic staircase going to the second floor. Perfect for individual portraits and small groups.
3: The music room. Fireplaces and dark corners are so romantic. Catch this before or after dancing happens!
4: The library. Dreamy bay windows and textures in this room are especially lovely!
5: The upstairs parlor. Used for getting ready, this space is stunning on it's own and always part of my rain back-up plan (don't you love when your plan B for photos is just as lovely as plan A?).
I've been here many times (this page currently is featuring my most recently photographed wedding). If you are getting married at the Endicott Estate I'd love to hear more about what you are planning to do with this stunning space!
